Michael Mansfield has been in the communications field since the 1980s. In 1992, with telecommunications deregulations well underway and offering many opportunities, he established Fiber-Tel Contractors, Inc. Michael Mansfield steered his first company to nationwide success, then in 2000 he diversified to offer clients more turnkey telecommunication services including cable placement, FTTH and FTTP cutover services in 2004.

Splicing Manager, Russ McNulty, oversees the company's fiber optic cable splicing operations and monitors quality control. A native Arkansan, Russ joined the Fiber-Tel team in October 1993. With decades of fiber cable splicing experience, Russ has the knowledge and expertise to ensure our customer's jobs are completed to Fiber-Tel's exacting standards.

Fiber Cable Placement Manager Malcolm MacNab has been in the communications field since 1966, starting with American General Corporation in his native Ohio. Projects have taken MacNab from the East to West coasts, where he has supervised construction crews, engineered projects, and managed the business side.

Steve Judd is the Placement Manager for Fiber-Tel. Originally from Oklahoma, Steve joined the Fiber-Tel team in March 2004. Steve's duties include securing fiber placement jobs and managing fiber placement crews. Prior to joining Fiber-Tel, Steve worked coast to coast for pipeline and fiber optic contractors. Steve's many years of experience with placement management is an asset to Fiber-Tel and our crews.

Fleet, Warehouse & Equipment Manager

As Fiber-Tel's Fleet, Warehouse & Equipment Manager, Lance Haflich keeps our trucks moving and our projects rolling. Lance's primary duties are to keep Fiber-Tel's fleet of trucks running smoothly and to ensure all necessary equipment is supplied to the contracted project locations. He also manages the warehouse supply inventory. Originally from Tennessee, Lance joined the Fiber-Tel team in September 2011.
